I just got a call from someone saying they’d received info about an accident I supposedly had that wasn’t my fault. When I told them I haven’t been in any accident, they asked for details about it! She kept asking more questions, so I just ended the call - felt really odd!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from a helpline about a car crash I supposedly had, which I definitely didn't. I told them I’ve been on the receiving end of these scam calls before. She kept pushing and asked when the accident supposedly happened. Similar calls have come through on my mobile before. In the end, I wasn’t going to give out any info, so after I refused, she just hung up.
