Just had a rather unexpected phone call from this number, claiming they knew all about an accident involving my vehicle-one that I didn't even cause. I politely mentioned that I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list, which should prohibit such unsolicited calls, and that she really shouldn't be ringing me. Then she pressured me for information regarding the incident. I told her I’d be reporting her for this nuisance, to which she simply said, “right then,” and promptly ended the conversation. Quite a cheeky approach, if you ask me!

Got a call from a woman talking about a car crash. She told me ‘don’t take cold calls’ and then just ended the call. Wish I had just put the phone down straight away!

Somebody rang me saying they’d received my number and claimed I’d been in some sort of accident. I wasn’t sure who they were from but when I said it wasn’t true, I just ended the call straight away and then blocked the number.
