On 12/05/17, I got a call on my mobile but as soon as I picked up, the other person just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was ringing from a solicitor's office about an accident I was supposedly involved in. I asked her what date this accident supposedly took place, since it was actually my mum’s phone and she suffers from Alzheimer's. The woman just ended the call straight away. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone trying to trick me into giving personal info, saying it was to ‘handle a compensation claim for an accident’. It was really well said and it seemed like they already had my details, which I reckon came from my insurance provider. If you’re unsure, best to check in with your insurance company directly. Mine told me straight away not to share any info with random callers.

I got a call about some kind of accident scam, and as soon as I brought up the TPS, they just cut me off straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming there'd been a car accident involving me. Sounded dodgy, so I just hung up straight away. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call about a supposed traffic accident, sounded like a recorded message but with odd pauses, maybe to seem more like a real person. I ended the call pretty quickly, but something told me it might be a scam.
