My dad got a call from this number earlier today at my parents’ place. The guy on the phone told him to visit some website, and while my dad was checking it out, the caller asked him to log into his eBay and Facebook accounts. Next, he tried convincing him to enter his bank info, saying he couldn’t see the screen, but my dad could hear his own voice echoing from his iPad. It was clear the bloke was watching what he was doing. As soon as the caller asked for bank details, my dad just ended the call. Definitely felt fishy to me.

Got a call from this number today around 1:47pm. The person on the phone started rambling about me being in a car crash within the past couple years. I don’t even drive since I have a chauffeur for work, but I played along. Told them I was suffering badly after an accident and had surgery on my leg and arm, then just ended the call.

Today at about 1:47pm, I got a call from a bloke with an accent that sounded foreign. He started going on about some car crash I'd supposedly had, saying I could get compensation. I played along for a bit, telling him I'd had surgery on my leg and arm after the accident. Then he asked me how long ago it happened, and that's when I told him, "I wasn't even involved." He immediately hung up on me. Not 60 seconds later, the same number rang me again, launching straight into the same story. This came through on my mobile. I've since blocked the number after I figured out who it was the first time. I've never been in a car crash, luckily, and I don’t even have a car at the moment.

Some firm claiming to be Your Law gave me a ring, saying they could help me get compensation for an accident. But when I asked for their website, they just cut me off straight away.
