I keep getting these calls on my phone, even tho I've only shared my number with close mates and family. What I do now is save the scam caller's number in my contacts, then block them straight away. It's actually working, the annoying calls are slowing down bit by bit!

i got a call from someone who said they were from some place called First Contact or something like that. she told me they heard i’d been in a car accident and that it wasn’t my fault. i told her that wasn’t true and she just cut the call off. the start of the call was really quiet too, like there was something dodgy going on. feels like a scam trying to grab my info.

Honestly, these things really need to be stopped. I’ve just about dodged a car crash for what feels like the millionth time now.

She called thinking I’d been in a car accident that wasn't my fault. I told her I don’t even have a licence and then she just hung up on me. The way she spoke was really robotic, like she was reading from a script or something.

I picked up the phone when it rang, but nobody said anything. The call went on for around 20 seconds then just ended.

I got a call from that number on my mobile, but when I tried to call it back, it just said the number wasn’t working anymore.

I got a call from someone saying I’d been in an accident. I told them that was nonsense and then just hung up.

I got a call from someone saying they were from a firm, but I can’t remember the name. When I asked what the call was about, there was a weird silence for a good while, then they just ended the call. The whole thing went on for about 27 seconds, with lots of quiet moments at the start and finish. I tried ringing them back on a landline to report the annoyance, but the number didn’t work anymore.
