Got a call from this number saying there was an issue with my internet, but it's definitely a scam.

Somebody rang up sayin I was in some accident, but that’s not true at all.

Ended the call right away - felt a bit suspicious and really irritating.

They said I've been in some sort of accident or something like that.

I keep getting calls from this number and others like it, always telling me I was in some kind of accident. They say they’ll take me off their list but the calls just don’t stop.

Total pain. Rang back and got no reply.

I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise unless I’m expecting someone. Luckily, google is always there to help me figure out who’s calling.

Someone keeps telling me I was in a car crash and need to make a claim - which is rubbish cos it never happened! I’ve had that call a bunch of times now!

I received a call but didn’t bother to return it, just in case it was one of those dodgy scams.

This morning at precisely 11:42, I received a rather strange phone call from a woman who claimed to be aware of my supposed involvement in a car accident. Naturally, I assured her that she had the wrong person, as I’ve never had any such mishap. After that, she didn’t offer any further explanation and abruptly disconnected the call. This marks the second occasion I’ve received a call of this nature, though I can't confirm if it was from the same individual or even the same number since I didn't jot down the details on the first instance. Quite baffling, indeed!

I’m signed up with the telephone preference service, so technically they shouldn’t be ringing me, but they done it anyway.

It aint no scam. They just going through a big list of numbers to find drivers who had small accidents but never claimed for stuff like whiplash at the time. If they ring enough folks, some will match. So yeah, they can be annoying but no need to freak out. It’s not dodgy. They can't really do much if you chat with em. Their whole idea is just throwing out loads of calls until some get interested. Not harmful, just bloody irritating.

This is a scam number with a 0121 Birmingham code. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Every time someone rings about a recent little crash, I just say it was a proper banger and there's not much they can do, or I try to pitch them some double glazing. Weirdly, they never seem keen to keep chatting after that!

01211588016 calling me about car insurance sales after an accident.

Got a call on my mobile about an accident I supposedly had. I asked them where they got my number from, but they just kept trying to talk about the accident. Every time I asked about my number, they’d ignore it and keep on with the accident questions.

I picked up the phone and they just ended the call right away.

Its an automated voice message, so just dont say anything and end the call.

I missed the call, probably one of those scam calls.

Cuts off the call right after I pick up, barely 3 seconds in.

loads of calls coming from this 0121 number and loads more starting with that too, always ringing but when i pick up, no one speaks. its so annoying, they really need to put an end to this!

The person on the other end just dropped the call the moment I picked up.

Got a call from an unknown number, missed it though, so I looked it up here. From what I’ve read in the comments, it sounds dodgy, maybe some kind of sales pitch or ppi scam.

Got a really dodgy vibe. Picked up and the caller just ended the call straight away.

I received a call from a number I didn't recognise and opted to let it slide. I was uncertain whether to ring back or just leave it be... fortunately, I chose the latter!
