Got a call from someone saying they were from EE, trying to get me to upgrade to 5G, even though I've already got it. They even knew my name, which made me a bit suspicious. Watch out for these scammers!

This bloke had an accent and was trying to push some survey on me, probably selling something. He kept asking if I owned my place, my age, if I had any pets, and how my washing machine was working. Got sick of it, told him it was a junk call and to not ring me again, then just hung up.

I picked up the phone but it was completely silent, so I just hung up. My phone did warn me it was probably spam, but I was actually expecting a call, so I wasn’t too sure what to think.
