8 yearsGot a call from someone with an Indian or Pakistani accent claiming to be from BT, saying my number was being used by others. When I told him I wasn’t with BT, he insisted that all phone lines belong to BT (is that right?). We never really got to sorting it out, but towards the end he got pushy, saying my broadband and line would be cut off at 2pm. That’s when I knew something was fishy and it was a scam.
