Got a ring from someone claiming to be part of a government program. Odds are, it’s a dodgy scam.

Got a call that hung up after just a few rings, then they tried ringing back six times over about two and a half hours. At one point, two calls came in just five minutes apart. The number seemed to come from Brighton, but my number isn't even from the UK. Fingers crossed they’re wasting their own cash.

As soon as I answered, the call just dropped. When I tried ringing back, some robotic voice came on saying “thank you for calling the housing claim.” Pretty sure it’s a scam or some kind of spam.

I’m looking to get in touch with someone named ‘Olivia’ (definitely not myself). Ben has been relentlessly pursuing this over the past few weeks and has even mentioned involving the authorities.
