I got a call from a survey company, they first asked me my name then tried to verify my address, which they obviously already had. I ended the call pretty quick and am going to block the number now.

I’ve had to teach myself not to get drawn into chatting with them - it’s just not worth it. Whenever they start talking fast or try to get friendly, I just end the call straight away. On the rare chance it’s someone I know, I quickly say sorry for being a bit brusque and luckily they get it because everyone’s been there. After that, I always block the number. 01218 240 846

Got a call about some survey while I was working. Couldn't really chat then. The person kept at it though, quite persistent.

I got a call from a guy called "George" who spoke with a strong Indian accent. He said he just needed a quick 40 seconds to ask me 4 simple questions. Weirdly, he already knew my name and where I live but then asked my age. I refused to answer and told him no a few times, but he kept pushing for it. Eventually, he just ended the call. Sounds like one of those dodgy survey scams to me.
