I just bid farewell to my wife as we were both in separate rooms, and as we answered our phones, we greeted one another with a “Hello.” There was a faint hope for a return call, but the whole situation felt dubious, so I decided to block the number.

I received a call that went straight to my voicemail, but the caller disconnected before I could answer. I'm guessing it's either a scam or one of those automated calls that seem to be doing the rounds these days.

Without a doubt, this isn’t sticking to TPS regulations. I've received multiple calls from someone – who I genuinely believe is an automated voice – saying, “Hi there, I’m Luke, your friendly energy consultant…” It’s nothing short of a blatant con!

I had a rather unpleasant experience regarding loft insulation; they seemed to have our address flagged on some list. This company bills itself as an esteemed provider of solutions, but I had my suspicions about their intentions. I flat out told Luke he was a con artist before I hung up on him. What a waste of time!

I’m baffled as to how they obtained my mobile number. They claimed to have some details regarding my insulation not being up to scratch, which is totally untrue since I do have full insulation. When I pointed this out, they abruptly hung up on me. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

At precisely 10:40 this morning, I received a call on my mobile from a chap named Luke, who claimed to be my nearby energy consultant. However, upon noticing the Birmingham area code while I'm situated down in Kent, I opted to hang up without uttering a word. It gives off a strong vibe of being a potential scam.
