Those scammy natives are a total pain. Proper pointless. On 27/02 there’s a post explaining how to deal with these annoying calls. The tech needed is already there, it just needs the phone providers to be made to use it. It takes maybe half an hour and a little bit of effort to do what’s suggested, but if all our MPs are made to answer, who can say what might change? One thing's for sure, you’ll get an official reply.

Just as I was about to engage with them, they hung up, which left me quite miffed. I can’t help but feel wary when someone cuts a conversation short like that. Some bloke with an Asian accent called claiming to be from Energy Matters, but when I asked for his contact number, he couldn't provide one! He also said he didn’t have any email details ready to send over. Plus, he was asking for someone by name who doesn’t live here. So, I used 1471 to check his number myself.

I have a hunch this could be a dodgy call. I picked up the phone on the 4th of February 2022, and although there was a lot of racket in the background, nobody bothered to say a word.
