5 yearsOn 12th July 2021, we got a couple of calls from a guy pretending to be from Microsoft, saying there was a big issue with our computer. He asked us to switch on the computer so he could "sort it out." When he called the second time and saw we weren't buying his nonsense, he got really nasty and started swearing at us, even insulting our England football team! Absolutely shocking behaviour from him.MicrosoftEngland5 yearsThis number rang me a couple times today but I didn't pick up since I didn't know it. No voicemail was left either. From what I've read in other comments, I think I'll just ignore it if it calls back.5 yearsThey told me it was Microsoft calling.Microsoft5 yearsGot called four times today but no message was left on my answerphone - I reckon it hung up when it reached the voicemail. I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, so I’ll just ignore this one too.5 yearsGot called two times today and there was just silence on the other end. Proper annoying!5 yearsSome people calling me honestly deserve to catch the coronavirus and its new variants, plus a nice dose of heroin while they're at it. Bet they’re just phoning one another up to run their own little pandemic cons. What a mess.5 yearsSo this guy claimed my computer had been messaging them or something. That’s something new to me. How on earth would my laptop be doing that? I checked my sent emails and there’s nothing unusual. Funny thing is, this number has also been linked to a scam targeting an 80-year-old about Covid. From what I gathered, the caller’s number shows up as Birmingham and they spoke with a foreign accent too.Birmingham5 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft about my computer, but I don’t even own one. Told him straight away to jog on. Blocked the number instantly.MicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (0121 823 0091)
