I've just received a call from this number and decided to return the call. It greeted me with, “Hello, welcome to financial welfare assistance. Press 1 for assistance, or 2 to opt-out.” Over the last few weeks, I’ve had multiple calls from similar numbers, all purporting to be fraud investigators. I’ve tried to look them up online, and there’s nothing about them. I truly cannot emphasise this enough - they are scammers trying to harvest your personal information. I urge everyone to block and report these unscrupulous individuals.
