Somebody rang saying they were with o2, saying they wanted to chat about my contract. I just told them I don’t talk about any accounts on the phone, they could be anyone really. Then I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, talking about my SIM and contract. Problem is, I don’t even have an EE contract. When I questioned them about it, they just hung up on me. Seems dodgy to me. Also, I think the same person rang me before from a number starting with 6271. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, speaking with a really thick foreign accent. They said I could get "half price discount" and then put me through to a "manager" who promised to ring back within 5 minutes. Eventually they called back much later and tried to get me to pay a £49.99 security deposit just to get £10 off my supposed EE plan. Seemed fishy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying I could get a 40% cut on my tariff. But when I asked them about my actual O2 account, they couldn’t give me any info and just ended the call. Felt like a scam to me.
