Somebody rang claiming to be from Vodafone's sales team. I asked which part of the UK he was calling from, but he just kept replying with "UK" and didn’t give any proper details. Definitely another dodgy scammer. He promised 25% off a phone, then suddenly bumped it up to 50%. Then he wanted my email to “prove” he was genuine. Yeah right, probably just trying to install spyware or grab personal info. Don’t hand over any details. If you can, keep them chatting on the phone for ages to waste their time and hopefully stop them conning others.

Got a call from someone saying they were o2 and promised to cut my bill by 40%. I called them out on it and suddenly they just ended the call. Total scam, watch out!

“Hi there, this is 02 calling, how can I assist you today?”... Honestly, sounds a bit fishy to me.

I answered twice and both times the caller just dropped the call. Most likely some sort of scam, that’s usually the case with numbers I don’t recognise.
