Got a call from a bloke in his 50s with a Yorkshire accent, saying he had 10 lottery tickets for just 50p instead of the usual £20 for ten. He sounded really friendly, but honestly, why on earth would I hand over my bank info to someone I don’t know? He was definitely more believable than those aggressive young folks who ring up threatening to cut off my internet - which kind of makes him even more worrying in my view.
