Somebody called claiming to be from an insulation firm, saying we need an inspection for loft work they supposedly did. Thing is, we did it ourselves since my husband’s an engineer. Also, our landline’s unlisted, so how did they even find our number? Sounds like a scam to me.

Right after I picked up, I immediately hung up, but my Fitbit Sense, linked to my phone, showed the call was still ongoing, so I had to end it there as well. That’s never happened before. Then, about two minutes later, I got another robocall from a mobile number warning that my national insurance info was involved in some fraud and I needed to talk to an officer urgently. They told me to press 1 to proceed, so I just hung up. The other number was 07440 524513. No idea if they’re connected or not.

Got a call where they wanted me to answer a few questions, so I asked, “What’s this about then?” The bloke snapped back in this kinda rude Indian accent, saying something like, “Are you bloody deaf?” before just hanging up on me.
