Somebody called me saying they were from the firm I supposedly signed up with for a diesel emissions claim on my vehicle. I told them I hadn't made any claim and asked for their full company name and address, knowing this was an unlawful cold call on my number that's on the TPS list. They just hung up. Lately, I keep getting calls like this from various numbers, usually a couple of times each workday.

My phone flagged this number as a possible scam. I picked up but said nothing, and after about 20 seconds the call just dropped. There was no one talking or any sounds in the background, so I’m guessing it was a scam call. I’m going to block it.

They asked me my name then just hung up. When I rang back, it went straight to voicemail and then cut off again. Definitely seems a bit dodgy.
