For nearly nine months now, I’ve been getting annoying calls. I put the number in my phone as ‘nuisance’ and blocked it. But this week, I got two calls from a man with an Asian accent, who somehow knew my name and the model of car I owned years ago. He said he was from ‘Diesel Claims’. What really confused me was that when the phone rang, it still showed ‘nuisance’ on the screen. The original pestering calls were from people trying to push a three-year contract for an electricity company I don’t recognise at all.
