I got a call from this number and it was one of those dodgy scams pretending to be from BT or openreach. They try to get you to install a remote access tool and then start messing with your antivirus software. From what I know, openreach never contacts you out of the blue like that or asks you to run any software on your PC. These scammers can be quite convincing and don’t give up easily, especially if you’re not very tech-savvy. Best thing is just hang up and block the number straight away.
