So, this number called me and the woman was going on about needing to post some legal paperwork from a lawyer or something. When I asked her more about it, she kept dodging the questions. I ended up telling her to buzz off and hung up. Then, she called right back! I told her even more bluntly to stop ringing. Fingers crossed they leave me alone now.

Another pointless call about a car crash I wasn’t involved in - really tired of these cold calls piling up.

Similar to what someone else mentioned, I got a very suspicious call from a solicitor claiming I’d been in an accident "in the last couple of years". When I tried to get them to provide a specific date, they dodged the question saying they needed to check with their "verification team". As soon as I said that didn’t sound right, the line was cut off straight away. Definitely seems like they’re targeting people who might fall for it or be tempted to exaggerate to get some payout.

They called me talkin’ about some car accident involving “you guys,” which is weird coz I’ve never even been in one.

I got a call from some solicitor about an accident I apparently had. As soon as I questioned them, they just dropped the call straight away.

Got a call from 1471 yesterday around 5.42pm, showed up as Glasgow 10/11 on my phone.
