Received a call from an outfit named Beneficial, apparently conducting a market research survey. I made it clear that I wasn't interested, yet they continued to press for my participation. Quite persistent, to say the least!

I received a rather distressing voicemail from this fraudster purporting to be from the HMRC about some supposed tax refund. They urged me to press 1 to connect with an ‘agent’ to talk further. It's obviously a scam!

He started calling me by my first name, so I told him he should address me as Miss. Then he said who he was and that he was from 02. I just said I’m fine where I am and asked him to leave me alone. After that, he launched into his usual spiel, so I just ended the call.

I keep getting calls from this number all day long. I think it’s something to do with cleaning cookers. But quite a few times when I pick up, there’s just silence before they hang up. Really annoying!

Got a dodgy automated call telling me HMRC’s looking into me for fraud and to hit 1 or they’ll arrest me. This happened the day after I’d just been on the legit HMRC website sorting out my personal account. Proper scam, don’t fall for it!
