I picked up and the person just said hi but didn’t say anything else. They got my name wrong and claimed to be from some energy company or something. I ended up hanging up straight away - definitely sounded like a scam.

A voice said hello and instantly called me by my name. When I didn’t answer, it got really quiet. Then, after a few seconds, a recording started saying, “I’m Richard Johnson, your neighbourhood energy consultant.” Definitely a scam, so I blocked the number straight away.
