Yesterday, I received a rather unexpected phone call from a lady who purported to be affiliated with TalkTalk. She initiated a conversation about my telephone bill, suggesting ways to reduce the costs. However, as soon as I mentioned that I'm with O2, she abruptly disconnected the call. I haven't heard a peep from her since. Definitely sounds like one of those dodgy scams!

I received a rather peculiar phone call today from an Indian gentleman who claimed that my phone bill was set to be slashed in half, provided I gave him some of my personal information. He suggested that my provider had made this decision to ease the financial burden on customers during these challenging times. However, I found this rather hard to swallow, as I expected to see some sort of announcement on the news or a direct communication from my service provider if such a monumental change was afoot. So, I promptly ended the call, suspecting he was likely trying to con me.
