Never, ever call back a missed call from a number you don’t recognise. It could land you in hot water - you might get hit with sky-high charges on your phone bill and also mark yourself as a target for more scams. If you’ve been scammed by these idiots, make sure you report it to the police. Just search for ‘action fraud’ and use the 'police.uk' website to file a victim’s report. Sadly, ever since lockdown, you can’t just report a suspicious number anymore - they only take reports if an actual crime happened. Look after yourselves, everyone!

Over the past week, I’ve shut down around ten calls from 01218033999 and different final digits from 0 to 9, usually getting two calls a day. I never picked up since it said they were scams. I’ve also flagged this to Ofcom for them to look into.

Every time I pick up, they just cut the line straight away. I guess they want you to ring them back. I actually phoned back one of those numbers ages ago and ended up with a crazy high bill after just a few seconds listening to some recorded message. Seriously, don’t bother calling them back.

Over the last week, I've been getting calls from numbers like 0121803399x, where the last digit changed between 3, 5, 6, or 9. My Samsung S8 tries to identify the caller by checking its database and flagged these as possible scams, so I ended up blocking them. However, today a new variation popped up, so I phoned back twice. Each time, someone picked up straight away with a slightly different spiel, but honestly, it felt like an automated message. They said it was about a magazine, but I don't subscribe to any. I reckon I’ll pick up if they call again.

Got loads of calls from these numbers 0121 803 3996, 0121 803 3993, 0121 803 3992, and 0121 803 3999 - reckon it's "The Week" trying to get me to renew or try out a subscription. Had nearly a dozen calls in just a couple of weeks, quite annoying.

I got rang a couple of times on Sunday 24/05/20 from 01218033999, then again on Monday 25/05/20 from 01218033994. On Tuesday 26/05/20, I had about 7 more calls all beginning with 0121803399 but the last number kept changing. I didn’t pick up any of them, but it felt like pure harassment since I was knackered trying to get some sleep after working a cleaning shift from 5am at a primary school ready for it to open next week.

My phone rang six times today but I ignored all of them. If it was something important, surely they’d leave a voicemail or send a text? Loads of calls from different 0121 803 numbers like 3996, 3990 and 3999 kept coming through, so I just blocked all of them, they were such a pain and felt a bit dodgy. One time I thought I'll pick up and tell them off, but no sooner had I said hello, they hung up straightaway. What a waste of time!

They’re switching numbers but the calls just don’t stop. I’m ignoring them now and have blocked the first one. Any other weird calls with similar digits will get blocked straight away too.
