So these dodgy people ring me up asking if I’d been in an accident. I decided to play along and said yeah, I was. They then wanted the full story, but I told them straight up it was none of their business. They went on about how I wouldn’t get any compensation if I didn’t explain what happened. So I just gave in and said alright - I had an accident alright, but it was in my bathroom and honestly, I just messed myself.

As soon as I started speaking, an auto reply kicked in and tried to guide me through stuff. Sussed it was a scam right away, so I just messaged with them to annoy them a bit. I said, “If you can confirm the number on my phone, I’ll ring back.” Then there was silence and they just cut the call.
