some woman rang saying she was doing a survey and asked if i could answer a few quick questions, said it wouldnt take long. i just put the phone down next to me and let her keep talking. after a while, i blocked the number.

You'd think someone out there must have a clue about who these callers are and where they're based so they can be put to an end. If more people took the time to report this number, maybe they'd finally get shut down. I've had my fill of these quiet calls as well.

i saw there were like four calls from this number really early, but i was asleep so missed them. when i rang back, they said i had the chance to win a voucher if i clicked a link they’d send me. tried that once before and got ripped off, no way i’m falling for the same trick twice.

Got a call on my phone from someone who said they were from "beneficial." They sounded like they had a foreign accent, maybe Asian. They seemed to know my surname, or something like it, but called me by the wrong first name. When I asked what "beneficial" actually was, they just ended the call right away. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
