I received a call from an extremely impolite gentleman claiming to be associated with Insurance Review. According to him, it was time for me to renew my life insurance. When I inquired about the source of his information, he simply advised me to search for CPS and remove my name from their mailing list. When I asked for his company's name and his own name, he abruptly ended the call. It was outrageously rude!

Really persistent bloke kept telling me my life insurance needed renewing and kept talking over me when I asked how he even knew that. He just kept insisting it had to be sorted and why not do it right now. I was straight but polite, saying it was my decision, not his. Then he said someone else would call me so I should just sort it with him. I asked him to remove my number from their list but he said he couldn’t, so I pointed out if they put it on there, they should be able to take it off. Not the kind of call you want, especially on a Friday arvo! So annoying!

Don’t pick up these calls, just block straight away. Looks like they either buy or nick your details to try and scam money out of you. Pure nonsense, total scam.

Picked up my partner’s phone and the first thing out of the caller’s mouth was something about my life insurance needing a check-up. I went along with it, asking which policy they meant. They just brushed that aside and tried to be all friendly instead. When they brought it up again, asking if I’d had a review lately, I asked once more which policy they were talking about - and then they just cut off the call. Caught red-handed!

I received a call from someone claiming that my life insurance needed to be reviewed and renewed. When I asked him how long I had been a policyholder and how he obtained this information, he replied, "I don't have any of your details." Well, if that's the case, then you can't possibly know anything about my policies or their renewal dates, can you? There was silence on the other end of the line, so I decided to hang up.

Really frustrating and persistent caller. I kindly told him I wasn’t interested in insurance and that I didn’t want to chat, but he kept pushing. They wanted just a few minutes to go over life insurance stuff. I was exhausted and in the middle of eating when he kept ignoring my no. So annoying.
