3 yearsGot a call from a guy called John Shaw, said he was from BT Openreach or something like that. Claimed my internet wasn’t safe, loads of hacking and viruses going on. He said he could fix it because apparently my internet costs too much. Asked me to check my router’s lights and count them. I humoured him for a bit before telling him to bugger off. He started prattling on about my internet being at risk, throwing around terms like hacking and malware. He seemed overly keen to assist me, citing that my internet bills were rather high, and wanted to inspect my router to tally the indicator lights.
