4 yearsOn 08/06/2022, I got a call from a woman named Anne Phillips who was ringing from this number. She claimed I owed Home Care Services £79 for a TV repair plan that I supposedly had. I've never heard of such a plan and told her so. She kept insisting that I’d last paid on 10th May 2020. I grabbed my account book to check and, as I thought, there was no record of any payment to them on that date or any other in May. When I mentioned this, she still insisted I needed to pay, or else the debt would rise to £130! That made me quite annoyed, so I asked her for the company’s head office number. She gave me 01206 803106, which I knew was a number from Colchester. I’d had enough by then and told her firmly this was a scam before hanging up. Although online searches show that number linked to Your Homecare, it seemed very suspicious.
