This bloke just rang me about a car crash I supposedly had. I told him yeah, I did - back in ####. Then he goes on about filling out a form and him sorting it all out for me. I couldn’t stop myself saying "heaven don’t get post", but he kept pushing, asking for my address to send the paperwork. Is it just me or is this guy dense? He totally missed the joke. I love turning the tables on these types, had a good laugh and then he just hung up! 😂😂😂😂😂

Only a couple posts here about what needs to be done if you want to put an end to all these dodgy foreign scammers stealing from vulnerable folks and pestering the rest of us. It does take a bit of effort, but I’ve started reporting scam calls and texts straight to the police database (their site is saved on my favourites). Sadly, it’s gonna take loads of people making these reports before they bother to do anything, but thousands of users put in scam reports on here daily. You won’t see results straight away if you start now, but if no one steps up, these cons will just carry on.

I got a call out of the blue asking me about a car crash. Was curious to see what drama they'd bring. As soon as I warned them that I was recording everything and would hand it over to the cops, the bloke went mad and started swearing at me, even tossing out threats. Proper nasty scam caller!

I just dont pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers. If it’s important they'll leave a voicemail right? I always look up numbers on sites like this before doing anything. If it seems dodgy, I block straight away. Cheers for the help!

I got a call from a man of Asian background asking to talk to his wife, who he claimed had been his spouse for 20 years. The weird thing is, my wife passed away over a decade ago. A bloke from overseas called asking about a car accident I had last year. When I mentioned that it was due to a bizarre fight between an ostrich and a hedgehog, he clearly didn’t buy it. He got pretty annoyed, told me to sod off a couple times, said I was wasting his precious time. Since I work at a job centre, I cheekily offered to help him find some proper work before he hung up. Poor guy.

Some bloke with a really strong foreign accent called, I could hardly catch what he was saying. After a few tries, I finally caught that he was talking about my husband being in a car crash back in 2000. I told him no, then he kept asking if I was certain? I said I reckon we'd remember something like that. He sounded pretty insistent that there had been an accident though.
