Some bloke from overseas rang me up claiming to be from a debt firm, wanted my bank info and promised to help me clear my debts. Problem is, I’ve got no debts at all - I chopped up my credit cards years back and settled everything ages ago. There’s no way I gave him my bank details. Got a call from some white goods insurance lot, seemed dodgy as anything. Funny thing is, they're always people from abroad ringing up, and then they're making their way over here in little boats across the Channel. Seems like they don't share our sense of right and wrong. Sorted by blocking them straight away.

They claimed to represent a drainage firm and offered to lower the cost. However, when I asked more questions, they just hung up on me.
