I received a rather eerie call featuring a mechanical voice purporting to be from the National Crime Agency, alleging that my National Insurance number had been misused. The number that called was 01217901495, which I wouldn't trust at all!

Got a chilling recorded message claiming it was the National Crime Agency. It said my national insurance number was about to be blocked because I was involved in some fraud. Then it kept telling me to press 1 to talk to an officer and kept repeating “press 1 now”. Absolutely terrifying.
