I received a call from a foreign gentleman with an Indian accent who seemed to know my name. It was baffling, as I had no clue who he was or what he was after. When I inquired how he obtained my number, I politely told him to go away and ended the call. It’s frustrating that the Telephone Preference Service doesn’t seem able to put a stop to these irritating cold calls and spam messages.
