I almost got caught up in a phone scam about my credit card. Luckily, I realised just in time and rang the bank straight away. They were able to shut down my current card and send me a new one with a different number so no dodgy transactions could happen. Definitely worth calling your card company quick if you think you’ve slipped up.

This number rang us with an automated message asking to verify a £600 purchase made overseas on an Asda credit card. We don’t even own an Asda credit card, so I called their customer support, and they told me it was definitely a scam.
