I received an entirely automated nuisance call on my mobile, which is registered with the Telephone Preference Service. They claimed to possess details about a supposed car accident I’d been involved in. It’s quite evident this is just a dodgy ambulance chaser on the lookout for clients.

I've been bombarded with calls from London and Birmingham lately, all inquiring about some supposed "accident" of mine. The moment I mention that I haven't had any such incident, they just cut the line. I've ended up blocking about five of these numbers now. I can only guess it's just another scam, isn’t it?
