His attitude was somewhat irritable, claiming he was calling with information regarding my number, which is ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, as are all the numbers linked to my household. He mentioned “Switch and Save” in relation to my phone bill. I couldn't help but offer him some rather brusque feedback regarding the dubious nature of his call. He promptly lost interest and ended the conversation abruptly.
