Got a silent call just now. I've heard some folks reckon it’s linked to LS 19 or something, but we’re actually switching from BT to a new provider today. Makes me wonder if the scammers know about that and are trying something because of it? Quite odd really.

They kept telling me it was the main server causing issues but insisted I check my internet, even tho we use Virgin. It sounded proper dodgy to me!

Got a call from this number but didn’t answer it. I've since phoned it back using 141 first, and there was a recorded message saying the person's line was busy and their voicemail was full, so I couldn’t leave a message. Sounds like it might be some sort of scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Openreach, said my internet had been slow for weeks and they were calling to fix it. I told them I hadn’t noticed any issues with the speed and reckoned it was a scam, so I just ended the call.

got a call from an indian lady who said she was calling from virgin media about my internet. she wanted me to turn on my laptop or computer so she could "fix" something. i got suspicious pretty quick since she didn’t know my address or even my name when i asked her. then she kept hanging onto the landline, wouldn’t hang up. definitely a scammer.

I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent pretending to be from BT, talking about my internet. Thing is, I don't even have BT internet at all. Honestly, I wasn’t sorry for the rubbish I gave her back - these scammers deserve to be dealt with severely.
