9 yearsGot a call from someone saying I was due money from a car crash I never had. They wanted me to set up an account or something. Was a bit suspicious so I let them waste their time while I acted bored. Switched between an old lady’s voice and my normal one. When they asked for my bank details to "sort the claim," I told them, “Thanks, this call is being recorded and sent to the police for fraud.” They hung up straight away, cursing. My mate suspected straight away it was a scam too. Just glad I played along and didn’t get caught out!9 yearsGot a call from a woman saying she was following up on an enquiry I'd apparently made about a car accident claims firm. She mentioned my phone number was on the TPS list, so I shouldn't be getting any marketing calls and said it's against the law for them to contact me. I asked her where they got my details from and how they got my permission to call, telling her I'd be reporting it to Ofcom. She then quickly cut the call. Tried ringing back but the number showed up as unknown.9 yearsGot a call from a lady asking if I’d been in a recent car accident, making it clear it wasn’t my fault. Definitely not something I was expecting!9 yearsReceived a call from this number, but I chose not to pick up. There’s very little information about it anywhere on the internet, so I have a hunch it might belong to a newly set up call centre.9 yearsSome woman called me claiming I’d been in a car accident, which is completely not true.Submit Your Own Report (0121 765 0888)
