So, someone rang me claiming to be from Connect 4 Security, trying to pitch a deal on a monitored alarm system. I told them I’m already covered with a different company. Instead of being polite, they started badmouthing my service provider and even told me to ring 101 and speak to the alarm admin about how ‘dodgy’ my company is. I did call the police, but they didn’t really want to get involved and just hinted that the caller might be using some shady sales tactics. Quite a strange experience!

Got a call from someone pushing a monitored alarm that links your house straight to emergency responders. They asked about my current setup, but I kept mum just in case it was a sneaky attempt to find out whether I have a system or not. Never did catch which firm they were from either.
