Just got a dodgy text requesting my personal details, so I straight up blocked the number.

Caution! This is a fraudulent call! The individual on the line claimed to represent O2 and asked me to provide a one-time passcode he supposedly texted to me. He said he was trying to reduce my O2 bill.

Someone rang me but didn’t leave a message. After checking online, it seemed like a dodgy scam, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Heads up, got two texts claiming to be from O2 - don’t share any codes they ask for! I rang O2 myself and their customer service confirmed they won’t ring you up with offers or discounts out of the blue. Definitely a scam, be careful folks.
