Just like the rest, I received a call from someone at O2 promising me a 40% discount. I appreciate the heads-up-I've gone ahead and blocked that number now. Cheers!

Someone rang me saying they were from Vodafone, but I checked and Vodafone said that number wasn’t theirs at all. Definitely a scam attempt to steal personal info. I’d block it straight away!

This number rang me a bit ago and I didn’t pick up. Checked online and judging by what I found, it seems to be a scam caller. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it and thought I’d share here so others don’t get caught out.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, but I'm quite sure it was a scam. They tried to sound official, but the whole thing felt off. Watch out, folks!

I got a random call from +44 121 751 0087, the woman on the line said she was from O2 Promotions and was offering a 40% discount on my plan. She asked me to share a 6-digit code she’d sent me in a text, supposedly to access my O2 account. The caller had an Indian accent, and I pretended to be interested for a bit. I even asked for her name and a number to call back on to check with O2. After a while, I told her it seemed like a scam and ended the call.

There was a lady with an Asian accent who rang me and kept saying "mam." I never quite caught where she said she was ringing from. I told her straight up I wasn’t falling for any tricks and told her to leave me alone before hanging up.

I received a random call today from what appeared to be a call centre, complete with some indistinct mumbling in the background. Very odd!

I got a call from 44 121 751 0087 on my mobile earlier. Didn’t know who they were so I just let it ring out, but since they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, I’m guessing it wasn’t anything urgent. I’ve blocked the number now, seems like a waste of time otherwise!

I received a call from someone who professed to be representing O2, trying to tempt me with a more advantageous monthly plan. The thing is, I’m not actually signed up with O2 at all! When I mentioned my deafness- which is indeed legitimate- they offered to email me the specifics instead. They said they’d send me a couple of texts, but unsurprisingly, nothing arrived. The line suddenly went silent after that. When they tried ringing me again about an hour later, I chose not to answer. I’ll be blocking this number for sure.

Got a call from a bloke claiming I could get 30% off my O2 bill. I asked him straight away for my O2 account number 😉👍. He said he’d get it in a sec but I wasn’t having it. Told him if he couldn’t answer my three security questions, I was hanging up. Guess what? He couldn’t. So, ended the call. Later got a strange text from “O2” with some code... 🤔 Looked it up here, turns out it was a scam! 👊

I've come across some dodgy characters pretending to be from O2, claiming they're offering a phony discount that's blatantly a scam. They’re most likely trying to snag your banking information. The wisest move? Just block the number altogether!

This number keeps pestering me, attempting to swindle me out of my cash.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from “O2 Network,” saying I could get 40% off a new iPhone or reduce my bill. She was speaking quite fast, so it was hard to catch everything. She mentioned sending a verification link to my email, plus a passcode to enter, supposedly to proceed. I’ve heard of this trick before - if you follow through, they can change your password and take over your account. So I calmly told her I knew what she was up to, then ended the call and blocked the number immediately.

I picked up the call, only for them to drop it straight away. This isn’t the first time - it’s been happening quite a bit over the past week from various numbers. Seems like some business has been careless with my details and shared my number without my approval!

I received a call claiming to be from O2, presenting some sort of deal. However, when I inquired about why they were contacting me since I don't have an account with them, the person abruptly ended the call.

Received a call purporting to be from O2. They seem to be fishing for access to your account by sending a security code request. What’s peculiar is that the message explicitly advises you against divulging the code, not even to their own representatives. When I pointed this out to the caller, she promptly ended the conversation. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you say?

This number seems rather dodgy to me. They ended the call as soon as I greeted them. I've decided to block it just to be on the safe side.

I recently had a rather dubious encounter with someone claiming to offer a "Exclusive Discount" from O2, urging me to keep it under wraps-including from O2’s own staff! They go so far as to generate a security code and ask for the number straight away. Whatever you do, do NOT give it to them! Once they have that number, they can wreak havoc like diverting your phone calls, trying to get into your banking details, and even ordering new devices to a different address. In short, they can pretty much get into anything that relies on your phone for verification. Stay vigilant!

When I confronted them about the dubious nature of their operation, they retorted with, "Are you completely off your rocker? I can swear as well, you know!" It’s certainly not the sort of response you’d anticipate from someone representing a legitimate business.

Pretending to be O2, so it's best to just end the call and block the number straight away!

Beware! They purport to be representatives of O2 but that's a ruse. They'll assert that they’re sending you a one-time passcode, and while that code may indeed originate from O2, it’s merely because they’ve entered your number somewhere in a dodgy online form to fetch it. Quite crafty, if you ask me. Don’t divulge that code to them! I indulged them for a bit during the conversation, but eventually, they decided to end the call themselves. Total scam!

Someone posing as O2 attempted to extract my personal code that was sent to me directly from O2. They were quite relentless in their approach.

I've had a rather curious experience recently - someone purporting to be from EE was adamant about providing me with upgrades on my contract alongside a shiny new iPhone. The thing is, I’ve never even signed up for an EE contract in the first place! Quite baffling, I must say!

"Oh dear, what can I say about these blighters? You could label them as anything you wish, but they certainly don’t qualify as decent human beings-more like the dregs of society, if you ask me! Utterly repugnant creatures, far worse than rats, if I'm honest. My advice? Don’t waste your energy on such filth. Engage your 'PEST CONTROL' tactics: ignore the call, then swiftly add them to your block list. It’s a shame we can’t just seal them up and throw away the key! Wishing you all the best as you navigate this nuisance!"

As soon as I picked up, some robotic voice started then cut me off right away. Total waste of time, just another annoying call.
