Today my phone rang from this number, and there was this automated woman’s voice claiming to be from Amazon. She said there was a dodgy transaction of £799 on my account, and they were putting the purchase on hold. They told me if I want to cancel it, I should press “1” to talk to someone. I just ended the call straight away!
