Someone rang our landline earlier and seemed to know my husband's name. They kept urging him to switch on his computer and punch in some code or something. My husband just messed about, acting clueless, but the caller was relentless, insisting he power up the PC. It was pretty clear they were trying to sneak into our system and access our personal info.

We got a call on our landline from someone who actually knew my partner's name. They kept pushing him to switch on his computer and put in some kind of code. My partner pretended to be clueless and went along with it for a bit, but the caller just wouldn’t back down, constantly urging him to follow their instructions. Pretty clear it was a scam trying to hack into our PC and access personal info.
