Just got a call from 01297467537 telling me £600 was taken from my credit card in the past quarter hour to some overseas place. They said to press one to cancel the transaction. I didn’t respond and they ended the call. Sounds like a scam or some kind of fraud for sure.

So these people claimed to be from some media outlet in Virginia but didn't even know my name or where I live. It's obvious they are just trying to scam you out of gift cards or any way they can steal from you. Stay careful!

Just got a ring from 0121 736 0457, and the bloke asked if I was a certain person, but I’m not. He sounded really polite and kinda young. At first, I thought he’d dialled the wrong number. I decided to look up where the number’s from, and turns out it’s from his own area. Honestly, I wish he’d ring back so I can tell him to jog on, ideally somewhere busy like a motorway with loads of traffic!
