I picked up the phone and they wanted to know if I was X. I just replied, what’s this about? Then they suddenly cut me off and blocked my number!

Got a call out of the blue about renewing insurance for my washing machine. He mentioned the company, sounded like “Evans Insure” or something similar, but I wasn't quite sure. I told him I wasn't interested and didn't want to continue. Then he asked why I was ending the call, so I just said I never sign up for stuff from cold calls and put the phone down!
