I received a call from a bloke who said he was Anwar from BT Openreach. I only have Sky for my internet, so I told him that. He then started yelling, 'you lot with your sky rubbish, BT is miles better!' Honestly, I've never felt so disrespected. After that, I ended up switching to BT for my broadband.

Had a call from someone who said his name was Anwar and claimed to be from BT Openreach. Just so you know, Sky is my only internet service. He told me there was a complaint logged about my internet but I told him I’m with Sky only. Then he started swearing, shouting “You f***ing Sky p*** BT’s way better!” Honestly, never been treated so badly. Ironically, I switched to BT broadband after that.

Some bloke claimed he was from BT Openreach, saying there was a problem with our internet (which we never asked about). He wanted us to go online, but we said no since everything's fine. Received a call at precisely 6:32 this evening from someone claiming to be Adrian. To my surprise, he had the audacity to mention my father's first name, suggesting they were after him. I informed him that my dad is currently recuperating from pneumonia and was taking a well-deserved rest. This bloke had the nerve to suggest I ring back another time! I was having none of it and told him not to waste his time or mine. When you ring them back, it gives you a choice to take your number off their list. I’ve just tried it and I’ll see if it actually works. These lot are cold callers who’ve bought your info from some other business, like your car insurer or utility company. They all seem to have the permission to pass your details on, mixed with thousands of other peoples, even if it’s from years ago. Even old info is enough for them to track you down - they’re just scammers through and through.
