Then, they launched into a spiel about ear cleaning, questioning whether I’ve ever been in a noisy job. I told them, “No, definitely not,” and before I knew it, they cut the conversation short and hung up. Interestingly, the chap on the line didn’t sound remotely like he was from Birmingham; he had a distinctly Indian accent.
