Got a call on my landline from 0121-7329781 but they left no voicemail. It’s obvious they don’t care about the TPS at all, and worse, they don’t respect the people they keep bothering. Honestly, I reckon any business or person who acts like this is pretty dodgy. If they can’t follow the rules about phone calls, how can anyone possibly trust them with anything more serious, especially money matters?

This bloke named Ben rang me up the other day, trying to get me interested in a government-backed insulation thing. I told him quite nicely to buzz off! He’s not the first either; a few other people have called about the same sort of stuff before.

Weirdly my caller ID said something like nuisance? There was nobody on the line when I picked up. Thought it might be a scam call and after checking here, I’m pretty sure that’s what it was.

I got a call from a man who sounded like he was a native English speaker, probably middle-class, and spoke with a lot of confidence. As soon as I answered, he launched straight into a script about loft insulation. When he finally paused, I asked him who he was working for, but he just hung up on me. Honestly, I reckon he was up to no good and likely some sort of scammer.

The phone rang and my mum picked it up. The caller started talking about a Government help or subsidy for loft insulation. Mum then passed the handset to me without any warning. The person on the other end asked if I owned the house, and I replied that I was the daughter of the owner. After that, the caller just said “thanks for your time” and hung up.
